Ok, I got it

Yeah, I know I've already listed them with my favourite bands but this is by far the sickest band on the planet and I need to make this little shrine to them here.
Plus Mick Thomson is my guitar idol.
All hail the maggot kings!
#0 Sid Wilson (15/03/1978) is the man behind Slipknot's turntables.   Often seen as the most energetic of the 9, Sid has been known to leap far from the stage right into the audience, either to do some crowd surfing or to land flat on his mask!   On many occasions the fans see both him and rival Shawn Crahan get into violent fights against each other while on stage.
When not working with Slipknot, Sid works solo under the alias D.J. Starscream, sampling everything from metal to hip hop to classical in his own mixes.
#1 Joey Jordinson (26/04/1975) is Slipknot's louder-than-hell drummer.   One of the most musically talented in the band, Joey is also an accomplished guitarist and song writer with a bit of bass playing on the side.   Though both Joey and former producer Ross Robinson were responsible for editing out the Mick Thomson's shred solos from both "Slipknot" and "Iowa" albums.   Grrr!!!
When not working with Slipknot, Joey plays guitar with the "Murderdolls" alongside singer Wednesday 13.
#2 Paul Grey (08/04/1972) provides Slipknot with it's thundering and occasionally haunting bass riffs.   Along with Joey Jordinson and Shawn Crahan, Paul is one of the founding surviving members of the original line-up in the late 90's.   Unlike the other 8 members, Paul was born in L.A. and later moved to Des Moines, Iowa.
Outwardly, Paul seems to be the least psychotic of the band, described as giving, sharing generous and even sweet.   However, when asked on radio if the masks were a fetish thing, he admitted to being into that kind of stuff.   Moving on...
#3 Chris Fehn (24/02/1972) is one of the 2 backing percussionist in Slipknot along with Shawn Crahan.   Definately the owner of the most distinctive mask in the band, Chris says that the Pinocchio/Bondage theme is supposed to reflect his jokey and comic personality.
A keen sportsman, Chris is certainly no stranger to a golf club or two.   The same can be said for baseball bats, though they are more used for hammering his drums on stage!
#4 James Root (02/10/1974) is Slipknot's rhythm guitarist.   The 'newest' member of the band, James joined up during the recording of the "Slipknot" album, replacing former guitarist Josh Brainard.   He may be the tallest of the 9 at a staggering 6'6", but James was originally the timid type.   It was only after being in the band for a while that he became a 'freak' like the rest!
Involved in a number of other bands, James played lead guitar for "Stone Sour" along with singer Corey Taylor.
#5 Craig Jones (11/02/1972) is the sampler of Slipknot.   Originally he joined the band after they recorded "Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat", as a replacement to guitarist Donnie Steele, and was in turn replaced by Mick Thomson.   Craig is by far the most quiet and withdrawn of the group, preferring to be left out of interviews whenever possible to remain anonymous.   The first time he did he said "If I wasn't in this band I'd probably be out killing people."   Little wonder he can scare even some of his bandmates at times!
#6 Shawn Crahan (24/09/1971) is the other backing percussionist in Slipknot, along with Chris Fehn.   The original founding member of the band, Shawn collaborated with close friend and fellow drummer Anders Colsefini.   Shawn is often viewed as the trouble maker due to his conflicts with concert security and on-stage brawls with D.J. Sid Wilson.
When not working with Slipknot, Shawn plays drums for his trio-based side-project "To My Surprise".
#7 Mick Thomson (03/11/1976) is Slipknot's fearsome lead guitarist.   At 6'2", covered with tatoos and far from being scrawny of frame, Mick is probably the most imposing of the 9.   With the creation of "Volume 3:(The Subliminal Verses)", under new producer Rick Rubin, Mick was finally let off his leash to display his true abilities with a shred solo on several tracks including "Vermilion" and "Pulse of the Maggots".
When not busy with the band, Mick runs his own guitar school at home in Des Moines, Iowa called "Ye Old Guitar Shop".
#8 Corey Taylor (08/12/1973) provides Slipknot with his raw vocal talents.   He was recruited after the recording of "Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat" from another local Des Moines band "Stone Sour" to replace Anders Colsefini as singer.   Corey draws on his tortured childhood and his feelings about the human race on the whole for his songs, particularly "People = Sh*t", claiming that humans are responsible for everything inflicted on the planet such as war, disease and death.
